About Pier 66 Fort Lauderdale Residences

Pier Sixty-Six offers an intimate collection of only 31 boutique villas located in two waterfront buildings. The well-curated residences will range in size from 1,600 to over 3,500 spacious square feet. Pier Sixty-Six will offer white glove service and the opportunity to live in and enjoy a highly amenitized resort lifestyle, as well as member only resort services.

Pier Sixty-Six includes a pair of 11-story condo buildings with 31 units, and two four-story villa buildings also with 31 units. The condo building units range in size from 2,600 to 2,700 square feet, while the villa building’s are between 1,600 and 3,800 square feet.

The project at 2300 and 2301 Southeast 17th Street has been in the works since 2018, when the city approved a 15-year development plan for Tavistock’s 32-acre site. Tavistock paid a combined $187 million in 2016 and 2017 for the two properties that make up the development site.

Pier Sixty-Six Residences:
The New Pre-Construction Condo in Fort Lauderdale

Tavistock Development Company, a real estate firm with a long history of developing high-end properties, is behind the new Pier Sixty-Six Residences. The team at Tavistock acquired the Pier 66 Fort Lauderdale Hotel in 2016 and has been working on plans for the redevelopment of the property ever since. Later, the firm also managed to acquire the former Sails Marina land, which is adjacent to the hotel. This allowed them to create a brand new Marina Promenade, which will be one of the highlights of the new Pier Sixty-Six Residences. The Marina Promenade will include shops, restaurants, and office space, all of which will overlook the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway.

Pier 66 Fort Lauderdale includes a pair of 11-story condo buildings with 31 units, and two four-story villa buildings also with 31 units. What Makes Pier Sixty-Six Residences So Special?

South Florida is no stranger to luxury condos. With so many high-end developments dotting the coastline, it can be difficult to stand out from the crowd. But with its prime location, world-class amenities, and luxurious finishes, the Pier Sixty-Six Residences are sure to turn heads. The Pier Sixty-Six Residences will be made up of two 11-story buildings, which will house a total of 62 condos. These condos will range in size from 2600 to 2700 square feet, which is larger than most other pre-construction condo developments in Fort Lauderdale.

A four-story villa that will have 31 units is also part of the development. Condo sales will start in October as the project is still in its pre-construction phase. Prices have not been released yet but are expected to be in line with other luxury condos in the area. Tavistock Development Company is eager to make Pier Sixty-Six Residences as Fort Lauderdale’s social harbor through the addition of the new Marina Promenade. Since the Pier Sixty-Six Marina holds a renowned spot as one of the busiest Marinas in South Florida, the new development will feature an array of high-quality shops and restaurants that will make it the perfect place to spend a day or night.

Amenities That Will Make You Never Want to Leave

Since Fort Lauderdale is considered the yachting capital of the world, it’s no surprise that the Pier Sixty-Six Residences will have its own world-class Marina. This marina will be able to accommodate large yachts, making it the perfect place to dock your boat or yacht when you’re not out on the open water. The developers of Pier Sixty-Six Residences have also made sure that the marina remain open as construction continues on the new development. This will allow boat owners to still have access to the marina while the new development is being built.

While the amenities are not yet discussed in full detail, we do know that the Pier Sixty-Six Residences will have a swimming pool and a fitness center. Both of these amenities will have stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway, making them the perfect place to relax or get in a workout. The first phase of construction is expected to be completed in 2024 with 93 units. What are they doing with Pier 66?

The real-estate development firm Tavistock Development Company acquired Pier Sixty-Six in December 2016 and is currently going through a major redevelopment of the property, which began back in 2021. There will be 62 luxury condos in two 11-story buildings and another 31 units in two four-story villa structures. Pier Sixty-Six will also feature a newly designed Marina Promenade with shops, restaurants, and offices.

Is Pier 66 under construction?

Construction has already started on Pier Sixty-Six and is moving along quickly. The marina at Pier Sixty-Six remains open to visiting yachts and other vessels during the construction period.

Is Pier 66 being torn down?

The iconic and historic 17-story hotel with its world-famous rotating Pier Top lounge will remain. However, there will be an additional 10-story building added behind the tower which will include a restaurant, spa and meeting rooms.
