Neighborhood
Guide
Not sure what the different neighborhoods are like in Miami? Here's a quick overview. Home to nearly 130 art galleries, showrooms, stores and eateries, The Arts District is a creative melting pot located north of downtown Miami. Bal Harbour remains a pristine community, a carefully designed haven for the very best in residential living and upscale tourism. From its beginnings in the late 1800’s, this magical place has attracted artists, writers, musicians, the free spirited and the eccentric. Downtown Miami is the epicenter of Miami’s bustling economy, where people from all over the world live, work and play. Once the splendid winter estate of William K. Vanderbilt, Fisher Island is a 216-acre private island residential community of unrivaled luxury and splendor. Located just a few minutes away from the bustle of downtown Miami, Key Biscayne is an island paradise, renown worldwide for its beaches and resorts. Beyond the radiant sun, surf and sand, Miami Beach has a rich history as an entertainment and cultural destination. The embodiment of excess, South Beach is an international playground offering non-stop nightlife, sandy beaches, unique architecture and plenty of eye candy. Located halfway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Sunny Isles Beach is set on a barrier island surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.
